Catalog description

This class serves as a 0-credit record-keeping course to mark the completion of Aequitas Global Public Health (GPH) fellows’ field experience. Students will fulfill this experience through a 6-8 week experience in a cross-cultural setting, with instructor approval. Automatic approval will be given to the following programs: Student Missionary Partners summer trips, Human Needs and Global Resources, Baltimore Urban Studies, Uganda Studies Program, Wheaton in Chicago, and Wheaton in Korea. The purpose of the experiential requirement is to help students gain cross-cultural experience, and connect concepts and theories with practices and outcomes in the real world.
