Catalog description

Understanding other people can be a ministry and a gift between friends as well as a valuable skill in professions such as journalism, healthcare, community organizing, education, marketing, or research. In this class students learn skills for understanding people, including interviewing, deep listening, and qualitative data analysis. Students will design and implement a plan for researching people while applying key theological principles and anthropological concepts such as ethnography, culture, and social structure.
