Catalog description
A first -semester composition course designed to introduce students to academic writing. Grounded in the process -based approach to writing, the course treats reading, thinking, and writing as integrated skills. Writing skills covered may include audience an alysis/rhetorical awareness, narrative, expository, and beginning argumentation.
