Educational Seminar

Catalog description

This course is taken concurrently with student teaching. It serves as an orientation to student teaching and functions as a formative structure for the experience. This seminar meets regularly throughout the student teaching semester allowing students to s hare experiences, strengthen competencies and address topics of concern. Completion of the state mandated portfolio and completion of the application for certification process are integral to the course. Preparation for employment interviews and how to fill out teaching applications to districts are covered as well.
