Catalog description

This graduate-level Topic Seminar is a flexible, variable-credit course within the Special Education Program designed to support and extend candidates’ learning experiences across a range of focus areas aligned to professional goals, licensure requirements, and school or district contexts. Seminar topics may vary by term to respond to emerging needs and evolving PK-12 special educational priorities. The course provides candidates with authentic, real-world perspectives and opportunities to apply special education theory to practice through problem-based learning, professional dialogue, and application-based tasks. May be repeated three times
