Prepares students to be informed consumers of special education research and to apply research principles to their teaching practice. Students explore, analyze, and synthesize current knowledge and research on a range of contemporary issues affecting individuals with disabilities, developing the skills to critically evaluate evidence and make informed instructional and professional decisions.
