Catalog description

Addresses theory and practice in selecting, administering, scoring, and interpreting both standardized and instructional assessments for students with disabilities. Emphasizes curriculum-based assessment, criterion-referenced testing, formative and summative evaluation, and data-driven instructional decision-making. Students learn to use assessment results to inform instruction, guide Individualized Education Program (IEP) development, and support equitable learning outcomes.
