Catalog description
This course will develop skills for planning and organizing instruction and supports for young children with extensive support needs. Focus on methodologies to accommodate individualized learning needs of young children with extensive support needs in inclusive environments, including adaptations and use of assistive technology. The basic principles of assessment, instruction, curriculum development, and augmentative and alternative communication for young children with extensive support needs will also be addressed.
