Introduction to Quantum Mechanics with selected applications. Topics include development of the Schrodinger equation, characteristics of the wave function, particle in a box, scattering, simple harmonic oscillator, spin and angular momentum in QM, applications to atoms and molecules. Three lectures and one three-hour laboratory period.
