Presents techniques for the preparation, handling, storage and disposal of laboratory materials. Topics may include laboratory safety regulations, selection of appropriate student laboratory activities, utilization of online and reference resources for selection of classroom and laboratory materials and basic instrument maintenance. Two three-hour laboratories per week.
