Data Science Methods

Catalog description

This course introduces a variety of data science methods based on concepts from statistics. Computational approaches to data sampling and hypothesis testing are explored alongside traditional parametric approaches. Regression and classification problems will be surveyed together with supervised and unsupervised machine learning models.
