This course is an introduction at a beginning level to jazz dance technique, theory and performance. Course material includes introduction to the basic concepts of body alignment and technique in the jazz dance style. Course focuses on consolidating skills in rhythmic awareness, accompanying terminology, history, practice and performance. May be repeated for credit.
