Catalog description
An examination of physiological processes in plants at the cellular to organismal levels, including photosynthesis, metabolism, vascular transport, water relations, stress physiology, growth and development, and mechanisms involved in homeostasis and regulation. Laboratory includes the design, implementation, and analysis of a plant stress physiology experiment. This course includes both scheduled laboratory hours and required independent work in the laboratory outside of scheduled class times. Three hours lecture and one four-hour laboratory.
