Examination of what we know about human inheritance and how our DNA informs who we are. Introduction to DNA and models of inheritance; discussion and interactive classwork on DNA and ancestry, what our DNA does for us, and current topics on DNA editing and potential outcomes for humans. Four hours of class (or equivalent) per week.
