Advanced Life Drawing

Catalog description

Students in A434: Advanced Life Drawing will build on the skills developed during A230: Introduction to life drawing. The majority of the course focuses on drawing the nude from direct observation, but class meetings will also include demonstrations, anatomy workshops, group critiques, and regular presentations of images to introduce and reinforce concepts. Students in A434 will study anatomy in greater detail than the previous course, and will have the opportunity to pursue more self-directed work.
