Catalog description

Interpersonal Patient Support - Physicians have an obligation to be advocates for their patients. This course will introduce learners to the scope of this obligation and the different strategies they can use to satisfy it. Among the strategies will be how to help patients navigate health care systems, how to understand the patient perspective, and how physicians can change their own patterns of practice.
