The purpose of this elective is to familiarize students with Natural Language Processing (NLP). The course will consist of a a mixture of virtual lectures and hand on exercises. At the completion of this elective, the student should be able to: - Discuss the free platforms available - Operate Canary NLP tool - Employ Canary to extract text from EHR notes
