Risk Management and Compliance examines risk exposure, response, and risk mitigation within healthcare organizations. Students will explore the regulatory environment, risk assessment methodologies, and strategies for mitigating risk. Topics should include healthcare policy, patient satisfaction, legislation, and regulations. Applying risk management and compliance frameworks, students will conduct a risk assessment and develop sustainable corrective action plans to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. There are no prerequisites to the course.
