Catalog description

Healthcare Law and Ethics provides learners with a comprehensive understanding of the legal and ethical principles that govern the healthcare industry. This course explores the complex interplay between law, ethics, and healthcare practices. Learners will gain knowledge and analytical skills needed to navigate legal and ethical challenges in various healthcare settings. Learners will be prepared to address real-world issues related to patient rights, healthcare policy, professional conduct, and the legal responsibilities of healthcare providers and organizations. Learners will complete an ethics case study as a summative project. There are no prerequisites to the course.
