Organizational Systems and Healthcare Transformation covers foundational knowledge, skills, and attitudes toward organizational leadership within healthcare systems that can help students be successful. This course focuses on the concepts of patient safety, improvement science, fiscal responsiveness, quality of care, value-based care, and patient-centered care. Additional topics of quality science and innovation, systems redesign, and interprofessional roles assist the student in building necessary skills for healthcare transformation.
