This course focuses on engineering and technology methodology in supply chain and manufacturing operations. Students address product and process development in logistics and supply chain management. Additionally, this course evaluates opportunities for innovation, technology, and automation to streamline service and manufacturing operations. Topics covered include the nature of process in service and manufacturing, value proposition and creation, technology tools for automation and process improvement, process mapping, and supply chain strategy.
