Catalog description

In this course, students develop statistical literacy while examining theories and methods involved in the process of deduction. Statistical inference is presented as a method of forming logical conclusions, predictive analysis, and for providing evidence and justification for strategic decision making. Students discover how to write output so that it can be understood by a non-statistician. Successful students who take this course will have taken and passed at least one upper division statistics course.
