Catalog description

Project communications management is the specific and planned process required to enable current and appropriate mechanisms for the collection, development, dissemination, storage, retrieval, control, monitoring, and documentation of project information. Successful projects require communication with team members and other project stakeholders, whether they are internal or external to the organization. Because effective communication ideally connects diverse stakeholders who may potentially have different cultural and organizational backgrounds, levels of expertise, perspectives and interests, this class explores the necessary processes and elements required for effective communication management within project teams and stakeholders.
