This course explores the principles of health information technology (HIT) compliance, governance, and standards. Students examine key legal and regulatory frameworks that govern the use of electronic health records, personal health information, and other HIT applications. Students also explore emerging technologies and trends in HIT compliance and governance, including cybersecurity, data privacy, and interoperability.
