Catalog description

This course provides an overview of economic tools and analytic approaches available to the manager for business decision making. Students in this course focus on microeconomic fundamentals, pricing, forecasting, demand analysis, and macroeconomic policy as it affects the business environment. Students combine mathematical skills with applications and examples from economics and business to develop an economic perspective appropriate for managing business units or entire organizations.
