Catalog description

This course provides advanced knowledge and skills in cyber operations, focusing on the practical aspects of securing and monitoring organizational systems and networks. Students will master incident response procedures, including detection, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident processes. The curriculum also emphasizes risk mitigation strategies, the development of security frameworks, policies, and procedures, and the application of effective vulnerability management techniques. Additional topics include analyzing and interpreting output from enumeration tools, configuring infrastructure vulnerability scanning parameters, and addressing vulnerabilities based on scanner results. Through hands-on activities and real-world scenarios, students will develop expertise in protecting and defending critical digital infrastructure.
