Catalog description

This first course in game design, for which students must have basic C# programming knowledge, teaches foundational elements of game design in C# and Unity that are required for Augmented and Virtual Reality applications. This course includes an overview of the Unity platform: configuration, basic setup, importing object collision detection, and an initial 3D environment. Demonstrated topics are scene creation, environment set up, and basic game play; incorporated course software development topics include Agile program design. Students are required to work on a project throughout the course, culminating in a functioning game.
