Catalog description

Critical reflection about information encountered in everyday life. Students will learn research methods necessary to evaluate popular beliefs in psychology and society. This class will review widely held myths in psychology, along with research studies that provide evidence refuting these myths. Factors that influence people’s beliefs will also be reviewed.
