Catalog description

This course examines the physiological processes that govern how trees grow, function, and interact with their environment. Topics include photosynthesis, water relations, respiration, nutrient uptake, and carbon allocation, as well as responses to environmental stressors such as drought, temperature extremes, and pollution. Students explore how these processes influence tree performance, forest productivity, and resilience under changing climatic and management regimes.
