Catalog description

Prospective teachers develop understanding of teachers as lifelong learners who engage in professional learning communities and use reflection to address classroom challenges. Students develop knowledge, skills, and dispositions for studying teaching through inquiry while exploring professional standards and expectations. Emphasis includes preparing for field experiences, engaging with the educational community, and taking responsibility for ongoing professional development.
