Catalog description

PR:MATH 114 and DRET 120 . Fundamental concepts of surveying and their use in acquiring the data necessary for preparation of topographic maps. Topics include note keeping, measurement of distances, angles and elevations on the earth's surface; azimuth and bearing calculations; field traversing and traverse calculations and methods of topographic mapping. Use of appropriate equipment is emphasized in field labs.
