Fluid statics, laminar and turbulent flow, mechanical energy balance, Bernoulli equation, force balance, friction, flow in pipes, pumps, metering and transportation of fluids, flow through packed beds and fluidized beds. Conductive heat transfer and introduction to convective heat transfer.
