Exploration of the many intertwined factors that influence the emergence and spread of infectious diseases around the globe. Study of skills required to work effectively in detecting and responding to outbreaks. Study of how human interactions with the environment and other animals affects their health, and how environmental and animal issues subsequently impact human health.
