PR: (ART 111 or ART 111S ) and (ART 121 or ART 121S ) and (ART 122 or ART 122S ). This course introduces the fundamentals of screen printing and explores the medium in a fine art context. Students will learn the proper care and use of screen printing tools, materials, inks and chemicals. Technical skills serve as a foundation for exploring artistic uses of screen printing and the role of the medium in society more broadly.
