PR: Consent. Introduces students to basic principles and practices of art therapy through historical background, theoretical frameworks, and in-field issues. Provides information on pioneers in the field, where art therapists practice, required educational training, as well as studio art explorations to enhance future clinical and artistic practice. Research, assigned readings, in-class discussions, and hands-on projects.
