PR: ARHS 120 and ARHS 160 . Introduces broad artistic traditions of South, Southeast, and East Asia including India, China, Japan, and Korea. Examines aspects of the culture and history of Asia including the spread of Buddhism, Hinduism, Shintoism, and other religious traditions. Discusses monuments, architecture, and artifacts and their relation to social and historical contexts.
