Catalog description
Advisory: PSYC C1000. This course is an introduction to the psychological, physiological, cultural and other environmental forces affecting human growth and development. Emphasis is placed on normal psychological development as a basis for understanding deviant behavior both within and across cultures. Theoretical models and research into the development of cognitive, perceptual, physical, personality and emotional abilities and disabilities are also presented and discussed.
