Prerequisite: MATH 003A. Advisory: PHYS 001. This is the first semester of a three-semester Physics sequence intended for students majoring in Physical Sciences and Engineering. Mechanics is the first course in the Engineering Physics series. The course introduces students to concepts such as vectors, kinematics, dynamics, energy, momentum, universal gravity, rotational physics, and simple harmonic oscillations.
