Advisory: DANC 031. This course focuses on learning and refining beginning to intermediate tap technique for musical theater, building upon skills learned in DANC 031. Through exercises, choreography in vaudeville, lyric and clogging styles, and discussions, this course reinforces beginning technique, style, and finesse. The course involves significant physical study. The primary objective of this class is to refine competence in beginning tap dance technique and terminology and to foster an appreciation of aesthetic principles.
