Catalog description
This course covers theory, research, and application of ethical one-to-one communication practices in various and diverse interpersonal relationships including in personal, professional, and social situations. This class explores the principles of verbal and nonverbal transactions that occur in relationships. This class also studies theory and research findings and their application to communication in interpersonal relationships in personal and professional contexts. The course content focuses on how individuals, organizations, institutions, and societies communicate within socially-constructed dynamics.
