This course provides an introduction to clinical practices in speech-language pathology through a combination of guided observation, simulations, and hands-on practicum experiences. Students will explore the roles and responsibilities of speech-language pathologists across diverse service delivery settings. Emphasis is placed on developing foundational clinical skills, including professional communication, clinical reasoning, and ethical decision-making. Through supervised clinical observations, simulated client interactions, and direct client contact, students will begin to apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings.
