Catalog description

Study of the assessment and treatment of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). The course content will emphasize cognitive disorders, motor speech disorders, autism, cerebral palsy and aphasias in relation to the selection and use of AAC devices. The lab will integrate the practical application of theoretical knowledge.
