Emphasizes interprofessional collaboration in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in a medical setting. Course content will emphasize skills necessary to work in acute, in-patient, and out-patient medical settings including documentation, infectious disease precautions and a medical terminology module. The lab will integrate the practical application of theoretical knowledge.
