Differentiates and analyzes the understanding, recognition, and construction of critical thinking. Emphasis on critical thinking and perception, cognitive development, decision-making, emotional intelligence, deductive and inductive reasoning, and formal and informal logic. Designed to improve critical thinking in written and spoken arguments by applying established modes of reasoning, analyzing rhetorical strategies, evaluating logical fallacies, and detecting propaganda techniques.
