Nursing Capstone

Catalog description

This capstone course will focus on student achievement of the program learning outcomes and the AACN Essentials of Baccalaureate Education for Professional Nursing Practice. A portfolio will be used to highlight the professional endeavors of the student's past and present academic and work achievements that show evidence of meeting the AACN Essentials competencies. The portfolio will also include a summary of the issues that relate to current nursing practice, the projection of the student's long- and short-term professional goals, and certificates earned in the nursing program.
