Catalog description

The course focuses on knowledge essential to the pharmacological management of common acute and chronic health problems experience by patients throughout the life span. Principals of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics will be applied. The course addresses foundations of prescriptive practice, including legal and ethical standards as related to advanced practice nursing as required by the Board of Nursing.
