Psychiatric Mental Health: Transition to Advanced Practice

Catalog description

This course is designed to provide the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner student with the essential and specialized knowledge and skills needed for independent and interprofessional practice. Students will investigate how their role fits within the complex healthcare environment through collaboration and engagement in activities that support role identity and transition to advanced practice. The course will include a mandatory on-site immersion.
