Catalog description

This course provides the nurse practitioner student with precepted clinical experiences to conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations, develop differential diagnoses, and formulate plans of care to manage acute and chronic health problems in children from birth through adolescence in primary care settings. The course emphasizes a patient-centered approach to promoting, maintaining, and restoring health.
