This is the second course that provides the nurse practitioner student with the evidence-based, specialized knowledge needed for assessing, diagnosing, and managing common acute and chronic health problems in young, middle-aged, and older adults encountered in primary care settings. The course emphasizes a patient-centered approach to promoting, maintaining, and restoring health.
