Catalog description

This is the first clinical course that provides the nurse practitioner student with precepted clinical experiences to conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations, develop differential diagnoses, and formulate plans of care to manage acute and chronic health problems in young, middle-aged, and older adults encountered in primary care settings. The course emphasizes a patient-centered approach to promoting, maintaining, and restoring health.
